Prince Riesig the Accursed Guide

Introduction

This guide shows the steps on how to locate and kill Prince Riesig the Accursed.

Prince's Chamber Access

Prince Riesig the Accursed resides deep within his locked chambers on the map marked with a P. To gain access to his chambers, you will have obtain 6 Ancients' Token by defeating the 6 Spirit of Ancient Guardians in the surroundings. Locations of all the six guardians are marked with numbers on the map.
Do note that the Ancients' Token will be binded on pickup and all 6 have to be in 1 person's inventory in order to open the prince's chambers.

Within Prince's Chamber

Once the gate is opened, move on in quickly as it will not stay open for long, this will apply also to all the inner gates inside the chamber. Do not attempt to revive yourself if you die inside the chambers as there is no way to enter the chambers again once you re-spawn outside.

There are several rooms inside the chamber. The objective will be to clear the monsters in these rooms and the Gate Key which will allow you to open the door leading to the next room.

Prince Riesig the Accursed Boss Strategy

Throughout the entire fight with Prince Riesig the Accursed, he will occasionally do a huge AoE pull towards him. Healers can take advantage of this by casting AoE heals immediately after the pull.

More importantly so, you have to watch out when Prince Riesig casts a channelling skill named Aura of Death which does very high magic DoT within a 25m radius around him. You can either use movement skills to avoid being in the 25m radius or set up Wings of Protection so that you and everyone around you will be immune to the magic DoT.
Do also note that Prince Riesig might cast Aura of Death two times in a row.
